While fans continue to debate weather or not we will see Bane (Tom Hardy) "Break The Bat' in The Dark Knight Rises, There's no doubting just how brutal the battles between him and Christian Bale's Batman will be. At a press conference for the film yesterday, The latter went into detail about exactly what fans should expect when the two come to blows in director Christopher Nolan's epic finale to his take on the Caped Crusader.
"The thing I
liked so much about the fight sequences with [Bane] is they're never
just knock-down fight sequences. You learn something more about each
character throughout each fight, which is the mark of a good fight.
...You learn about what Batman has had to go through from the beginning
of the movie to the end in order to be able to defeat this man."
When Christopher Nolan cast Heath Ledger as The Joker for The Dark Knight. A lot of people were excited, The movie earned a lot of money at the box office that's it's now so hard to not make anymore. Chris Nolan also said that putting in a dangerous villain like Bane who will be played by Tom Hardy! Is important because for The Joker who earned lots of attention on the big screen means more showing for the entire audience and weather or not it's The Joker people like. Nolan admits that putting in a dangerous smart and sneaky villain and a strong one is something that he wanted to do. And like The Joker who relys on chaos and who wants to watch the world burn and who tells Batman that he is an immovable object makes it so that Batman cannot move because even when you try to touch him. He still won't move and that's what inspired Nolan to cast Heath Ledger because his performance was incredible. The rumors also about The Joker being cast again into this third movie is not true and is not something that Christopher Nolan would do because he already passed away because of a drug antidote. And the rumors are fake and not true at all.
"And you're
learning about Bane as well, and the changes that have come over him.
And that's always essential in any fight. That's really what you're
looking for.. We've seen so many people punching each other non-stop,
who cares? You're looking for 'what are the changes? What are the
weaknesses? What are the strengths of each character that are going to
allow them to dominate one or the other?'"
The thing about Bane is that he is a strong tall dude who will get revenge on the Batman for killing Harvey Dent. The reason being is because Batman murdered the District Attorney everyone in Gotham City relyed on and depended on for help whenever they needed him. Christopher Nolan said that Bane is not much like a normal dude. He is out for revenge and he is a terriost leader who is wanted to break Batman's back. Bale also said that Batman may not exist anymore and that without him what would Gotham City be like. He said that bringing back Batman is not a choice because that's how he wanted to be involved. That's how he wanted to show people that he was the good hero that Gotham deserved. But not the one it needed at all.
According to http://www.hitfix.com/news/dark-knight-rises-star-christian-bale-recalls-battling-bane-and-his-last-scene-in-the-batman-suit Bale had earlier referenced the villain as, "the first adversary of Batman's that you know could probobly whip his butt". While his analysis of how Christopher Nolan handles such scenes is an interesting one, some fans previously criticized the fights in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. However, The movie Inception shows just how fantastic a handle the director has on these sequences. while the snippets of brand new footage in the TV Spots and movie trailers are surely proof enough that fans have nothing to worry about.
The battle of good vs. evil here is that Batman is trying to stop Bane a terroist leader who comes into Gotham City to mess things up and to blow up and destroy the city with his Doomsday Device. But unfortunely Batman's limits are put to the test by both Bane and Catwoman who is a smart skilled and a sneaky thief while Bane on the other hand is a brutal ruthless terroist assigned to take down the Batman. As Batman deals with the force of what it's like to be good and evil on the inside. He must come to terms with Alfred Pennyworth and also with CEO and Wayne Enterprises member and supervisor Lucius Fox to stop this new threat as it emerges and becomes a new challenge for him to face.
