The Dark Knight Rises Tumbler Tour Warner Bros Announces The Batmobile Tumbler And The Bat-Pod Tour

Warner Bros and Mountain Dew have teamed up to promote the movie's release by sending out their original The Batmobile Tumbler and also their Bat-Pod on tour. Basically it's called the Tumbler Tour and it's where they will send their brand new vehicles on tour from across each state and in each city. If you go to the website at http://www.tumblertour.com/ then they will basically show the vehicles that are there and what kind of hometowns they will stop in.

The Tumbler Tour is an event where people get to see Batman's new vehicle of The Batmobile Tumbler because his first one was destroyed in The Dark Knight because it was hit by The Joker when he tried to stop him. The Tumbler Tour is also an event where you will get to see the vehicles on display. Basically they will have some strict rules about only looking at the vehicles that are on display and not touching them.

BURBANK, Calif., May 10, 2012 — Fans who have been eagerly awaiting the July 20 release of Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises” will have an opportunity to get a firsthand look at the Tumbler and the Bat-Pod, which are rolling out on a coast-to-coast tour, sponsored by Mountain Dew and IMAX(R).

 

Both the Tumbler and the Bat-Pod have served as high-powered modes of transportation for Batman in Christopher Nolan’s earlier blockbusters–with the Tumbler first appearing in “Batman Begins,” and the Bat-Pod being introduced in “The Dark Knight.” They will both be featured in different ways in the hugely anticipated finale to the director’s Batman trilogy, “The Dark Knight Rises.”
